Exclusive Interview with Actor John D. Hickman as Sheriff Bob Lilly!
Q: John, can you tell us about your role in Gunner?
John Hickman: I am playing the character of Sheriff Bob Lilly. The entire film was shot in Alabama, a few minutes away from my house. That was a really good and memorable experience.
Q: Do you have a favorite scene in the movie?
John Hickman: The final scene is pretty emotional when Luke and I have a heart-to-heart. I am really proud of that one. You’ll have to wait and see once the movie hits theaters!
Q: How was it working with Luke Hemsworth?
John Hickman: Luke and I worked together years ago. I did an episode with Luke on Westworld, and then we did a movie together called “Crypto” a few years back, and that’s how I knew him. Getting to work with him on this movie was really cool, he’s a good guy, and it was a great time.
